Tampa Elks 708 is a part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (B.P.O.E) which is a fraternal organization founded in 1868. We belong to the Florida State Elks Association (FSEA) which was established in 1904 and so in 2004 we celebrated its Centennial. The FIRST President of the FSEA was a member of Tampa Elks #708. The FSEA President for 2004, Frank Palladini, is a member of Tampa Elks 708. For more information on FSEA and their State Projects, go to their web page at www.flelks.org. Tampa Elks Lodge 708 resides in West Central District (WCD) along with eight other Lodges. We are the fifth oldest Lodge in Florida and celebrated our 100th anniversary in 2002. We are currently the only Elks Lodge in the city limits of Tampa and have been in our current location since 1982. If you are visiting in Tampa, be sure to stop by. We extend a cordial welcome to all visiting B.P.O.E. members and their guests when visiting the Tampa Bay Area.
The "Elksize" is the official monthly publication of Tampa Lodge #708 and features a message from the Exalted Ruler and a detailed calendar of events, as well as reports from the various committees. The Elksize is available online via the link provided at the top of this page.
